Cecilia Wanner is a certified Counsellor, grounded in a Catholic worldview and anthropology, who comes alongside individuals, couples, and families who seek to flourish.
Following her passion for living a deeply rooted faith life, she has been guided toward a genuine interest in helping people achieve their potential through counselling the whole person. She is committed to fostering emotional healing and personal growth for those seeking support.
Cecilia was born and raised on the prairies of Saskatchewan, where she is currently raising the youngest of her seven grown children. She enjoys reading historical novels and books on theology, escaping into nature, learning about anthropology and natural remedies, running, and sports.
It is difficult to journey alone. Cecilia will journey alongside you to help uncover your inner strengths, navigate challenges, and cultivate a renewed sense of hope and resilience. Together, you will find the courage to continue positive transformation.
Cecilia specializes in treating trauma and PTSD, narcissistic abuse recovery, emotional regulation, conflict resolution, anxiety and depression, and grief and loss. She provides EMDR and trauma-informed therapy, client-centred therapy, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy.
Cecilia studied at Franciscan University of Steubenville and holds a Master of Counselling degree from Briercrest College and Seminary in Caronport, SK. She is a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and holds the Canadian Certified Counsellor designation (CCC #11247538).
