Frequently Asked Questions

Our hourly rates as of August 1st, 2026 are:

-Nicole and Clark: $200/hr

-Cecilia, Lauren and Hannah: $160/hr

All billing is in Canadian Dollars.

Payment is due before each counselling session begins. Payment can be made by Interac E-transfer or credit/debit card.

To pay by E-transfer, make payment to payment@catholiccounsellor.com at least a few minutes before your session is scheduled to begin.

To pay by credit/debit card, you must add a card to your online profile. Your card will be billed up to 24 hours before your session begins. And yes, we do accept AMEX!

Usually, depending on your benefit plan and the therapist you work with. Each of our therapists have different professional designations and are regulated by different governing bodies, and every benefit plan is different. We are available to assist you in finding which Catholic therapists are covered by your plan.

We generally do not offer direct billing or work with Employee Assistance Plans. Normally, we provide our clients with a detailed receipt after the session which they present to their plan for reimbursement.

We do work with a handful of small, exceptional plans such as WCB, Saskatoon Tribal Council, and the Regina Police Service.

At CURA, we believe in making therapy accessible. If you do not have mental health coverage, please contact us to discuss how we can make these services more affordable.

Your session time is reserved for you, but we also understand that things come up in life from time to time. We require 24 hours notice for cancelled sessions. If less than 24 hours notice is given, the full session fee will be charged.

Yes. All of our therapists are comfortable and experienced working in non-Catholic therapeutic environments. But we believe that Christ is the Divine Physician and that healing works better when you bring God into the process!
